Understanding SSL Status

SSL is what allows the cemetery website to load securely over https. Custodia Serena can only finish SSL after the domain points to the platform and verification succeeds.

A pending SSL status usually means DNS is still propagating or the domain has not verified yet. A failed status usually means a DNS value is missing, mistyped, or still pointed somewhere else.

Do not publish a custom domain as the primary public URL until the dashboard shows the domain is verified and SSL is active.
